Deciding your gift has never been more simple! Our shop is overflowing with colour and uniqueness, whether that be books, ceramics, poetry, candles, soaps, jewellery and more. There’s a unique but perfectly personal gift for every person, every hobby, every taste.

But giving a gift is usually involves a lot more than simply purchasing your chosen item. There’s the matter of wrapping the gift, whether you want it to be in a gift bag, whether a card is necessary to include, or if it’s a gift tag kind of present, if you want to give your gift by hand or would like to be delivered. In fact, buying the actual gift seems the easy part (even if you don’t always think that would be the case!)

We want our gifting experience to be thoughtful, but simple. Beautiful, but easy. No stress, and certainly no worries. One place with every gift essential you could think, all under one roof. At Harriet and Rose, we’re all about providing the whole gift experience. That means that you can shop with the knowledge that every element and ingredient of a gift - whether that be wrapping, gift bags, gift tags, tissue paper and more - is available in the shop.

We have a range of beautiful tissue papers and lots of brightly coloured wrapping paper both by the sheet and 4m rolls dotted around the shop. There’s brights, florals, geometric patterns, animals and even sweary wrapping paper (for you naughty lot!). The perfect selection to suit every occasion and person.

And if you are a gift bag person, we equally have a large selection up our stairs and on our first floor. There’s every size imaginable, including teeny bags and bottle bags, with lots of patterns available too. Some of our gift bags even match our gift wrap, if you like to be matchy-matchy. We try and order in portrait, landscape and different sized bags in each pattern, so if you like the look of a certain gift bag, you don’t have to be disappointed to find it only comes in one size. If there is a design that particularly takes your fancy but you can’t see one out, always ask a member of our team. Often we have more gift bags in our stockroom and are always happy to check for you.

Cards need no introduction, for if you have been in the shop you’ll know we have a card for every eventuality, gift, and occasion. Nice downstairs, naughty upstairs (and downright awful hidden away in the draws upstairs), we pride ourselves on our ability to find and stock the best cards. We have a small, but lovely, range of gift tags also available, as well as our own branded Harriet and Rose ones as well.

Our “whole gift experience” extends to even those who are unsure about what to get their recipient. Our website details lots of carefully curated care-packages, which make wonderfully thoughtful gifts. We have different care packages for different occasions - such as new baby, moving house, birthday and more - which are easy to order via our website, with free delivery! We can also make up care packages in the shop too. No need to worry about finding the gift, wrapping the gift, or delivering the gift - we have it all sorted for you.

And if you’re really, really not sure on the gift (let alone the finishing touches!), we offer vouchers too! In the shop we offer physical vouchers that come in a sweet, ribbon tied pouches, but online we offer both physical vouchers and e-vouchers.

There’s no need to traipse from one end of our town to the other (unless you want to, of course), because we have all your essentials, carefully chosen for you, all in one place. Gone are the days of having to visit multiple shops to buy your gift and all the extras, instead simply find everything you’re after in one visit. Simple and easy, but still always thoughtful.
