Over and Out!
Hopefully at this point, all Christmas gift shopping is completed, you’ve come out in one piece after the final food shop, and Christmas cheer is no longer just a notion getting you through fighting through the Highstreet. Christmas is almost here, those tentative last hours of absolute stress before the final hurrah. Or perhaps at this point, you’ve thrown all worries out the window, and are embracing the imperfectness of Christmas (and the lack of extra hours in the day to facilitate every festive task!).
Although we will be open for a few hours tomorrow, for us as a Team in the shop, it’s a wrap for us for this 2025!
A year of incredible highs, including our beautiful window displays for the Battle of Flowers and Christmas, finding new and exciting stockists, and further growing as a firm favourite shop for gifting! And now…for some rest! Harriet is opening Christmas Eve from 9am to 12ish, but then we are off on our Christmas holidays until the 5th of January, when our normal opening hours commence, and we will be ready to see you from 10am! Our Christmas returns on eligible gift receipts has been extended until the 16th of January - so don’t fret if you see us closed over the Christmas and New Year period, as there is plenty of time once we reopen.
On behalf of all the Team at Harriet and Rose, we want to say a big thank you to both our online and in store customers for supporting us this year. Running an independent shop is not easy in this day and age, and whilst we have an awful lot of fun ordering stock and making the shop look as gorgeous as possible, without your custom, we wouldn’t be here! It always a joy to hear your feedback about the shop, whether it be our stock (especially our rude cards!) or our window displays, and its our interactions with customers - for a chat, laugh, or advice - that make our jobs so worthwhile!
So, it’s a heartfelt thank you from all of us, for making this year even more special than those before. We can’t wait for the newness - new stock, new displays, and the new year! - and we know that 2026 will bring so much more excitement and joy for Harriet and Rose!
And with that, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. And most importantly, we hope you (like us!) manage to have a restful holiday period.
